The future prosperity of the individual workers and families of Europe depends upon the improvement in job opportunities, in the quality of living, not just the standard of living and in greater accountability.

With the greatest respect to the founders of the European Union and those pioneering nations, the aspirations and promise of a common Europe was always supposed to improve job opportunities and living standards, not harm them.

For many people, the “European Experiment” has been a total failure. Corruption, waste, lack of accountability and lack of clear economic vision are all crimes to which the previous and present bureaucracy of the European Union is guilty. It is no wonder then that so many Europeans regarded the most recent constitutional referendum with deep suspicion and contempt.

A return to the principles of the vision of a common Europe

A well structured building can withstand greater danger than one made in haste and compromise. This is the unending moral of the simple child’s tale of the Three little pigs. Similarly, the strength of a constitution and its declaration is a factor in determining the effectiveness and governance of a nation or a union.

Therefore, to achieve the vision and hopes of all Europeans, the proposed constitutional framework of the European Union itself must be seriously reformed. In making such reform, it is then entirely possible and indeed certain that a common Europe, a single Europe can achieve the employment growth and standard of living growth promised.

This site is still in significant development. But it is hoped in the coming months and years that support for a reformed constitution for the European Union which encompass the constitutional reforms listed here will become a reality.
