Core design principles of forms |

The following shall be the core design principles of all forms. |
|
| |
Standard fonts |
|
| |
(1) A standard set of fonts should be chosen for European Union and used consistently across all standard forms and information. No more than 3 different types of fonts should ever be used in one form, document or screen. |
|
| |
(2) The standard size font for text should be between 10 point and 12 point and fonts smaller than 8 point should not be permitted. |
|
| |
Standard identification |
|
| |
Every form should have a standard form identification number capable of being used to quote and retrieve the specific form and in other appropriate forms such as Bar Code systems enabling it to be read by computer software. |
